Good Day All,
I thought I would take a few minutes and let you know what's up with us. We are settling in well although we have been very busy with school work. We both have heavy loads and the weekends are a welcome sight.
We are planning to go hiking tomorrow with some friends on a mountain about 40 minutes out of the city or so. It sounds like fun and it will be nice to get out of the busy city. The "way-gookens" (Korean for foreigner) are playing softball again tomorrow afternoon. I went last week and it was fun but the bats kept breaking and it's too much for good ones.
My boy's soccer team is coming along nicely. They are really out of shape but not for long. My speech about how the RFIS girl's team could run circles around them is working nicely to motivate them. First tourney is in 3 weeks in Pusan.
We had hotdogs today for lunch on our foreign foods Friday. They are not very good but considering Monday was squid mcnuggets, sliced lotus roots cooked in maggi sauce, tofu and bean soup and raw fish spinach salad I will take lousy hotdogs.
It has been cooling off nicely this week. It's in the 60s at night and we aren't running the AC at all. It should be fall like until into Nov when it gets chilly.
That's about it for now. I am going for a trek with some other teachers to look at cell phones at 1530 so I better go.
Take Care and God Bless
